New video released by the Louisville Police Department shows the moment golfer Scottie Scheffler is arrested outside the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
Chief Police Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel said on Thursday that the arresting officer, Bryan Gillis, broke the department’s policies by not turning on his body-worn camera.
Scheffler was detained on 17 May and charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and disregarding traffic signals from an officer, all of which he denies.
