Sushant, who might have turned 35 on Thursday, was discovered dead at his Bandra home in Mumbai on June 14 a year ago. His fans and admirers took social media to remember the actor whose unfavorable destruction was trailed by a high-profile investigation.
SDMC’s Congress Councilor Abhishek Dutt in September 2020 had moved the proposal to name the road after the late actor who died by sudden speculated suicide.
“It was cleared by the SDMC House in its meeting yesterday,” a senior authority said.
The Andrews Ganj Councilor in the BJP-drove South Delhi Municipal Corporation had sent the proposal to the civic body’s road naming and renaming committee.
In the composed proposal to the Municipal Committee, Dutt said that an enormous number of individuals living in the zone adjoining Road No 8 hail from Bihar and had asserted “they have been demanding” to name Andrews Ganj to Indira Camp as ‘Sushant Singh Rajput Marg.’ It is their love for the actor that they want to show in this form.
