The upcoming gadgets will be under the affordable segment and will have an inbuilt Google platform. The upcoming handset will be packaged with information packs. The report expresses that Jio and Google will develop these phones. This was normal from Reliance Jio as it has confirmed before that it will get affordable gadgets the country, particularly on 4G and 5G networks. The company needs to convert 350 million 2G clients in the 4G. For the unconscious, Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, and BSNL are serving 2G clients in the country. It is worth mentioning that the upcoming smartphones are probably going to give tough competition to all settled players, for example, Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Oppo, and OnePlus that are contributing $2 billion in the business, where Xiaomi is driving both online and offline segment, while Realme has caught the fourth position in the smartphone category. World reader Ties Up With Reliance Jio Meanwhile, World reader, a non-profit education organization has joined hands with JioPhone to bring to the table kids books to 150 million clients.
“Through World reader’s Book Smart application on Jio phones, the partnership brings free kids’ books to more than 150 million recipients from under-resourced households across India, most of whom are first-time web clients,” World reader said. Under this partnership, JioPhone clients can get to Book Smart through its application store under its education segment.
All clients will approach all BookSmart libraries through the Jio Education application. Furthermore, the BookSmart library highlights nature, science, language workmanship, social investigations, and wellbeing, which incorporates cleanliness identified with COVID-19.
