OTT platforms stand for ‘over-the-top’; initially, it was named about the devices that go “over” a cable box and let the user access to the content on TV. In the OTT channels, the particular content is delivered with the help of an internet connection rather than through a traditional broadcast provider.

In the present times wherein we are only dependent on the OTT platforms to deliver us the content. Netflix, hot star, amazon prime are some of the key examples that are here to create a trend that shall not pass its way very soon. 

However, with the advent of this platform, the young clan was attracted to the content, which was delivered on these platforms. Indian series like that of Sacred Games, Mirzapur, and the recent Pataal Lok makes a huge difference.

With the same even movies have started to follow the cult of releasing their artwork directly at these platforms. 

Here are some of those movies that are going to make their mark with a huge star cast directly at your smartphones, tablets, televisions, and laptops via OTT platforms –

Gulabo Sitabo – 

An Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Gulabo Sitabo is all set to hit the masses with its presence of ace star at Amazon Prime shortly. Due to the shutdown of movie halls, directors and producers have shifted to OTT platforms understanding the present fad.

Laxmmi Bomb – 

Akshay Kumar is known for his out of the box approach, and this time with his movie Laxmmi Bomb, he is going to set trends on the OTT platform by making the new mark in his career. This movie shall be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. 

Ludo – 

Directed by Anurag Basu, Ludo shows the talent of stars like Aditya Roy Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, which will be originally streaming on Netflix in a few days under the severe conditions of pandemic coronavirus. 

Jhund – 

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen on online platforms in two of his movies. One with Ayushmann Khurrana in Gulabo Sitabo and another in Jhund at Netflix as per the present reports. Are you excited about this humongous change? 

Shakuntala Devi – 

Another one in the list, which is all set to mark its presence on our subscribed online platform, is a Vidya Balan starrer Shakuntala Devi. The first look was lately launched, and now it is time for the film to set the home theatre screens on fire. 

BONOS – Extraction –

Already released on Netflix- the Ruso brothers’ creation has made a significant mark on the online portals. The makers of MARVEL Infinity war and Endgame steeped to recreate a Hindi – English mix ‘Extraction’ starring Chris Hemsworth, which turned out to be a total dope in the country.
