One of the best – known exponents of the sitar, Pandit Ravi Shankar, and a very well – known composer of the legendary Hindustani classical music, has bagged three Grammy Awards, one that also includes a lifetime achievement award at the Grammy.
A packet of talent, who was not just a globally recognized Tabla player but also an actor, music producer, composer, singer, and whatnot. He also won more than one of the great awards under his name – he first got it in the year 1992 and then in the year 2009.

He has won two Grammy awards among which, one is for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album and the other one is for the Best Song Written for the Visual Media.
The first-ever woman to bring Grammy to the nation was Tanvi Shah. She is a singer who sings in various languages like – Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese. She wrote the Spanish lyrics for the famous song, Jai Ho of Slumdog Millionaire and won in the 52nd Grammy Awards for Best Song Written for Visual Media. She also shared the award with AR Rahman and Gulzar.
